The main thing to you need to bring is your adventurous attitude! Adventure 4 All will supply all wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmet and any other safety equipment you will need. You should bring something to wear under a wetsuit if we are going on the water and some trainers that you don’t mind getting wet!
I'm not a great swimmer, does that matter?
Not being a great swimmer should not mean that you miss out on fun on the water. We provide all buoyancy aids and all our staff are fully trained and experienced at working with people of all swimming abilities.
Can people with disabilities have a go?
Of course. This is one of the things that makes us different. We welcome people of all capabilities and we’ll be able to adapt many of our activities to suit your needs. The Adventure 4 All team all have a background in education and training and have worked with people who have many different types of disabilities.
What happens if the weather changes?
Your safety is our highest priority and we always take into account what is happening with the weather and we can adjust our activities accordingly. We are all local to Portland so we know the island better than anyone so we are always prepared!
Do you have changing facilities?
At Portland Marina we have full access to changing facilities. There are no changing facilities for coasteering and climbing, so come ready.
